An interactive installation with a modified "theremin" where two antennae record the movement of hands in the air. This movement makes it possible to move real objects placed across from the viewer on a specially designed artificial wall, creating the illusion of energy produced by the hands. The participant will feel that he or she is moving objects without having to touch anything.

imagen caja juliana

This is a suitcase/table to perform techno-magic shows. This “flight case” turns into the perfect table to do magic, which includes a computer with technology developed at the Interactivos?'07 workshop. Some shoes were also created that make it possible for the magician to control the functions of the magic box wirelessly. Now the objective is to test and improve the prototype, as well as implement new games that make it possible to interact with projections on the screen.

Rainbows

It is an interactive solar installation for recycling digital images discarded by an anonymous public. The goal is to gather, count and transform those images, to then turn them into a natural phenomenon: a rainbow. The basic question raised by the project is: Where do those digital images we discard go? Rainbows is a practical action so that our digital garbage undergoes a metamorphosis.

Tiempo Maleable

de Jose Castro (Argentina)

This is an interactive installation made up of a thread of drops of water flowing vertically from a fountain. The viewer, extending his or her hand toward them, can (by illusion) modify the behaviour of the drops, which will move forward, backward, at different speeds, or hold still in the air, which makes it possible to explore our perception of time. LED strobe lights will be used to illuminate the drops and thus modify viewers’ perception of their position in space.

MASA

by Andrea Sosa and Rolando Sánchez (Argentina- Perú)

imagen masa

This is an interactive installation where multiple users, by synchronizing their heart beats, can revive a man who is “lying” in the middle of the area. This way, the sum of shared gestures produces a magic act. The work fosters collective effort and the synchronization of wills to create a magic moment: the return to life. This work is inspired by the poem "Masa", by the Peruvian poet César Vallejo.
