Dariola Collective

It's been a while since we've been thinking about adding more content to the ART and TECHNOLOGY binomial. There are plenty of reasons to do that, but the main one is the conviction of the innecessary distinction of the different artistic manifestiations and the believe in an interdisciplinary art.

At the beginning, Dariola is born from the massive quantities of audiovisual material archives publishedt on the internet that are exchanged and spread. Dariola -that oozes, that flows- is a website of reflection aimed at the analysis of the artistic practice on the internet as an audiovisual platform (in a broad sense); as well as a resource exchange platform and tools for artists. This blog-archive includes the research entitled Towads and Authentinc Expanded Cinema (Hacia un Auténtico expanded Cinema) where two questions are mainly tackled:

   1. Experimentation of new narratives and visual aesthetics: Specifically, audiovisual experimentation on internet, from an expanded cinema point of view (Youngblood, 1970)
   2. New dissemination methods and audiovisual transmission through the net or net.broadcasting
