Companies' data bases and indicators of innovation in Spain provided by the Industrial Organization School EOI

1. Data base formed by about 70.000  micro, small and medium companies' entries  (PyMEs) with technological bases and/or activity in I+D+I and institutions and organizations (public and privated) providers of digital services. This data base include information about the companies' activity, their sector, economical and financial situation, innovation level and geographical situation.  [+info]

2. Data base formed by about 50.000 entries corresponding to companies located in industrial stations, industrial areas, technological stations and other business concentrations around Spain with different activity' indicators. This data base includes less information than the previous one but some I+D+I activity indicators are kept.  [+info]

 

Geographical data bases about the Galician coast territory provided by the Regional Environment, Territory and Infrastructures Ministry

For the development of the Galician Coast Regulation Plan by the Regional Environment, Territory and Infrastructures Ministry (Xunta de Galicia) a geographical information system has been developed witch includes information about the landscape, environment, infrastructures, occupation and uses of the territory, urbanization and legislation. Besides there is a data base of about 10.000 oblique aerial photographs of the whole Galician coast and another one of “ortofotos” from the whole Galician territory obtained periodically from 1956 onwards. GeoLinked Data (.es)

GeoLinked Data (.es) is an open initiative headed by the Ontology Engineering Group, it's destined to the enrichment of the Web of Data with the publication of different information sources coming from the Geographical National Institute, making them accessible as knowledge data bases RDF (Resource Description Framework) according to the Linked Data principles. Besides, these data are interrelated with other knowledge data bases already available at Linking Open Data.

Nowadays, the information sources used in the generation of the GeoLinked Data belong to the Geographical National Institute of Spain (IGN) and the Statistics National Institute (INE). A detailed description of the considered sources can be found at http://geo.linkeddata.es/web/guest/fuentesdatos
