Presentation of the Internet of Things work group in Madrid. This session includes the presentations of Ed Borden from Cosm (former Pachube) and Joe Saavedra from the Parsons School of Design of Nueva York.
Ed Borden explains the Cosm project, an open source participatory sensing platform dedicated to prototyping air quality testing devices such as Air Quality Egg. Cosm is a website that allows to move data back and forth from internet connected sensors.
Joe Saavedra talks about citizen sensors and Do-It-Yourself enforinmental and air quality monitoring through everyday devices and specific apps.
