#bookcamping. Recap: Paths Taken So Far and Ways Yet to Be Paved

Desde 12/06/2012 06:06 hasta 12/06/2012 12:06

"During this last session before summer, a low tech/low fi (but full of tact and contact) session, we will meet to listen to the journeys we have been through during the first stage of the Laboratory and to share our enthusiasm for the following stage yet to start. We will recap topics, texts, possibilities and guests we have received during the four previous session. Even though it is thought as an open session, it is specifically addressed to the group so it can evaluate and go over the issues that have been covered and the topics or paths that have still to be dealt with or that we wish to reflect on during the following year.

We have changed during these months and we would like to share that. To give you a taste of the upcoming stage, we will present Luz Santos, new #bookcamper pro, editorial researcher that maintains the Cuaderno del Copiloto blog, she will share with us, besides her current fascinating project ISB(U)N, the lines of work that she wants to explore with #bookcamping. We shall also present the new Desautorizadas (Unauthorized) bookshelf, where we intend to build an archive and a community centered on the possibility of a new Remixable Literature, something external to the usual processes of production and distribution marked by the recent literary tradition. With the presentation of these two new lines we want to highlight the idea (and the practice) that #bookcamping is open-ended and in constant mutation and, in this sense, we invite you to propose projects that you think could be fostered/developed by this network tool/identity that we are trying to create all together."
