As part of the cycle of introductory workshops for the usage of digital fabrication tools and machines at Medialab-Prado’s Fablab, this wednesday we will introduce the concept of rapid prototyping through 3D printing.
FFF (fused filament fabrication) printers are the most common printers on the market today, as well as an icon of digital fabrication. A must for any Fablab, they are capable of materializing in a quick, cheap and easy way a 3D model or design.
Through out the course of the evening, we will learn various ways to obtain a 3D model, fabrication parameters, and we will print some examples.
If you are interested on learning what 3D printing is all about, sign up through our form below and join us this Wednesday at the Fablab of Medialab-Prado.
