Workshop Hands-on actionable mashups (Puesta en práctica de mashups accionables)

Desde las 18:00 hasta 22:00 el 27/05/2015
She uses a web-based environment to search for forthcoming music events. She plans a trip to a destination where her most preferred concert will take place, e.g., London or Rome. For this purpose, she wants to find a sleeping place at a friend’s apartment who resides near the event location and who will be present during the date of the event. As compared to previous environments who build largely on the idea of mashups, the present approach aims at taking the mashup approach one step further by making the mashups actionable so that users cannot only accomplish their tasks in flexible ways, but moreover interact with information in terms of “task objects” that can get different meanings according to the various contexts into which users place them. In order to experience this novel approach, you will have the opportunity to deal with some unexpected changes which may occur in Maria’s plan and that will allow you to experience the flexibility offered by the new paradigm.
