Hertz Lovers: Build your own acoustic panels

After working for several months with lots of different materials and techniques, we achieved several designs of absorbent and diffusor panels which are quick to build, cheap and very efficient. We will use digital manufacturing techniques mixed with craftwork. CNC cuts, laser cuts, hot wire and hot knife, molding and more.

But this workshop is not our only action. We will build a website with all the tutorials and files so any person in the world can build them. Besides, once you learn how to make them you could sign up as builder so other people can find you.

Practical information 

Duration: 8 hours (2 days, 4 hours per day).
Dates: July 7 and 8, 2015 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Cost: Free
Seats: 12 maximum.

Selection criteria

• If you are a Sound Engineer or have some sound engineering knowledge.

• If you are a musicians who record and produce yourself.

• If you have a room you are already using to mix or record, and you need acoustic treatment.
