Citizens-Sensors and Infrastructures of the Commons

Desde 12/07/2012 11:07 hasta 12/07/2012 11:07

The availability of open data generated by urban systems as well as different platforms that enable the participatory generation of data sets open up possibilities for groups of citizens to produce, manage and use data infrastructures. These infrastructures will make it possible to generate systems for contemplating the city and intervening in it from the commons. This presentation will cover examples and case studies that explore the implications of generating citizen sensor networks and the risks and opportunities for producing citizen infrastructures of the commons.
