Debate around the Desvisual Manifesto

The Devisual Manifesto was produced at the end of the Devisualise Workshop held in Medialab-Prado in July 2012. It proposes a critique of the visualising obsession of contemporary control society and at the same time offers some possibilities to set ourselves to motion in ways that are not subject to representation. A complementary strategy to that of political visualisation (visibilisation), which may be urgent to consider with regard to the increase in surveillance technologies that are subjecting bodies at a planetary scale.
