It is the second public presentation of the european project ETP European TelePlateaus in which four european cities connect four interactve physical spaces in real time for the production of common audiovisual environments with full body interaction, exploring novel forms of telematic presence.
One of the first video games played by large public was Pong. Like a tennis court seen from above, the players moved along the opposite short side and drove a pixel ball between them. The European Teleplateaus interactive telematic environment makes an interpretation of Pong, placing an emphasis on game and adding tele-communications. Finally, we add you in actual size. Welcome into the game! Four european cities connected in real time for a telematic real-time game! Tuesday, 25 May at 19:00 (CET) is the public display of this and you will be able to find fellow players in four different cities. Dresden, Madrid, Prague and Norrkoping.
