The "Misiones Pedagógicas" 75 years after

On the occasion of the Las Misiones Pedagógicas (1931-1936) exhibition, currently on show in the Conde Duque Art Centre, in this meeting we propose a critical revision of the historical experience of these missions, from the standpoint of the socio-cultural and technological advances we have witnessed since then. Taking up a debate on the ideas behind this project as a point of departure, our objective is to shed a view on to what extend the issues raised at the time are still valid nowadays, and what connections can be established between the pedagogical action of those years and the educational approaches of today.
