Commons Based Enterprises - Work Plan 2011

The collective based research “Commons Based Enterprises” has started the year with a new partner: the project Colabora-Bora coordinated by Amasté and which takes places in the social innovation centre Eutokia in Bilbao. Along this year we will conduct interviews and public activities in Basque Country in order to analyze how this economic reality is taking place in the context.

Eutokia will host a workshop in June in which we will design a collective ontology of these Commons Based Enterprises. To do so we will invite all those researchers that have been contributing to the project. We also think that it is very important for the group to achieve autonomy and distance the project from YProductions. In that sense we will discuss legal identities, organization models and ways in which to seek funding for the project in order to make it fully self-organized.

After this, DABNE will design and implement a semantic wiki in which all the contents generated through the research process (videos, recordings, papers, articles, etc.) will be archived and available. The prototype for this tool was discussed at the workshop that took place in November 2010 at the Medialab-Prado and EOI. This tool is essential to order, share and make use of the information compiled among all the different researchers.
